Do you use depurative mixes? No, same flyer mix plus safflower but minus the peas kasi mahirap tunawin yun.

Do you give antibiotics? Yes kung kelangan, like kung nakabota na umuwi at preventive medication against canker (2-3days) every 3 weeks.

Do you force bath?

Do you give water upon arrival?  YES. Water w/ BELGASOL+HONEY or GLUCOSE powder. Kung hard race until tomorrow at may halong BS or metronidazole at tuloy yung antibiotic for another day.

Do you give grits once the bird has recovered?

Do you loft fly them day after arrival? Usually di naman lalabas ng loft ang pagod na ibon..basta no force flying during this time.

Broe's... share lang.

Do you use depurative mixes?

Do you give antibiotics?

> NO.

Do you force bath?

> Yes and No... depende sa ibon. Kung medyo madumi ang feather like tails and primary flights... force bath ko sila.

Do you give water upon arrival?

> YES. + Glucolyte

Do you give grits once the bird has recovered?

> YES. everyday meron silang access sa grits.

Do you loft fly them day after arrival?

> Yes.

brother jay,

answer sa tanong:

1. NAGPAPAINOM KA BA NG FRESH WATER?

Fresh water is given day of return from

training and the races...

2. NAGPAPAIKOT KA BA SA DAY OF BASKETING?

No,  I prefer to keep them inside the loft and ready for basketing..  the birds should be race ready at this period of time.I dont want the birds to fly their race while routing in the vicinity of the loft.

My birds route very well specially in their peak form , they can route for 3 hrs or a bit more

very easily ..

3. SANG AYON KA BA SA PAG HIHIWALAY NG COCK AT HEN?

yes and no..it depends on the situation.or the system I'm using at that time period.

No,if the birds are set for the natural system of flying. meaning  the birds should be paired up and must be on 7-10 day old eggs or a one week - 2 weeks old young.

Yes, I wanted the sexes separated if I have set the birds on semi -widowhood system.

Definitely I have to separate the cocks from the hen. To motivate  them.

4. NAG OOPEN LOFT KA BA?

No, the outside environment of  my loft is full of predators.

to risky to take chances.. specially if the team is really racing well.

5. ANONG MONTH ANG TAMANG PAG BA BREED
PARA SAYO PARA EXACTO SA RACE?

January to March..   ready for the August race (8 consecutive weeks of  racing  from 180-

300miles  or at times 350 miles or 400 miles depending on the race schedule..

at times the combine voted for a  Yb race of up to 300 or 350  in some years 400 miles.

I believe the 400 mile race is to much for our young athletes of the sky.  300 or 350 mile race

is the  pinnacle  of young bird racing.  Although I will always ship at the 400 miles if that is the

final race station for that particular year.

6. MERON PA NGA QUESTION ANG LOFT MO KUNG SAN NAKA HARAP NORTH EAST SOUTH WEST lol lol pero meron talagang ganyan tanong yung mga beginner na alam mong interesado talaga pati iyan tinatanong.

The experts  said I should face my loft in the north east direction..where the birds are coming from the race..my loft entrance is facing  west. by the pacific ocean. a big no..no.. for the experts.

2 Best Overall Champion Bird Trophies sits on top of my book case.

7. NANINIWALA KA BA SA MOTIVATION?

Yes, The birds must be well motivated to win the race. The birds must be well motivated to fly fast to

his own territory, the perch/or nest box.

The system I like .. (double widowhood) the perch method can be utilized to stir the cocks or the hens to protect their very own perch or perches..The cocks in one side of the loft and the hens on the other side.(at times a dominant bird will occupy more than one perch. and protect it to the death). They are very territorial.

Then before basketing,  let the cocks and hens together and chaos will definitely rein the loft..

just observe them for at least 3-5 minutes.  Then ship /or basket them /or load them..

Make sure you force water them with a syringe.  3-5 ml of water down the throat. I will not give more than 15 ml of water. The bird will vomit or regurgitate the food and water in their crop.

Form is thus lost if this scenario occurred. A healthy well motivated bird can have high hopes to win races.

8. NAPAKARAMI PA... PAG IISA ISAHIN NATIN BAKA MALITO NA ANG BABASA HEHEHE PERO LAHAT YAN MAY BASIHAN KASI AT KUNG MINSAN PARANG CORNEY PERO PAG NAISIP MO PARANG TAMA O maya tama na ko sa utak hehehe lol lol

your doing fine bro.. In fact I do like your  questions  and current answer sa mga post mo..

I do believe in luck but "fate" is no luck...

keep up the good work,

beginners,

aughie
